VSYNC activated but still getting more FPS (PC version)

I'm playing the PC version. I have VSYNC activated locked with a 60Hz monitor so I should get 60fps (my PC can handle it with no problems) but even when I've locked the game with VSYNc I'm getting 70...

Only thing I can think of off the top of my head: did you set the Vsync and refresh in-game? That is, in the Video settings under Options in BF2 do you have the game refresh set to 60Hz and Vsync activated?

Yes, I have set the refresh rate to 60hz and VSYNC is activated. Still, I think it was the first big patch because before that the game was working just fine. And even if I disable the VSYNC the game still looks laggy, pretty annoying.
