We cant play with friends - Bad squad system

This is not a bug... it's the current state of the squad system and it sucks a lot

It was pretty bad in beta, and its still in full game? Whats the point playing with friends if you cant be with them in one squad?  O_o

I am not sure why you have moved from the bug section.

I thought this was a bug in the beta (and most of the people though that it was a bug), but as you say, this is not a bug?

How do you think this could work in a multiplayer game?

I preordered the game, but now, i fell very disappointed because this ruins the multi-player experience with friends.

On the other hand, you have moved to another section, where maybe you will not be reporting this to the devs or they cant see it.

I think this is a big problem and it should be solved before the game launch... It makes no sense to play with friends with this system.

What could we expect about this? A lot of people are complaining about this bad system in several forums and threads.

That's exactly my problem with the game. The problem is that we spawn with randoms, we can't even communicate with them, how is this supposed to be good for the teamplay aspect of the game? Okay, it's a design choice, but no one really understand this. There are several threads about this on every Battlefront forum (reddit, ea forum etc.), people complain about that aspect every day, you can't ignore it. People want just to play with their friends, specially Galactic Assault on huge maps, makes no sense at this point! This game is at the current state just enjoyable for solo players. A lot of people will not buy the game, because of this spawn system and the teamplay aspect.

Paul Keslin said in that interview with AngryJoe (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDfNY6DAoYs&t=) that Battlefront is a different game compared to Battlefield for example.

Now, the problem is that I cant play "directly" with my friend(s). We can meet us randomly on the battlefront but not more. And the "new" feature with the double Battlepoints dont affects the teamplay at all. You dont need to play togehter. You can spread out and can go in different directions and you still get double points after the ring is filled.

I really feel like I'm being fobbed off regarding to the teamsystem/squadsystem!

You should change/improve it. Thanks in advance.

@petazetas69 @EnmCrAzYKiLLeR Hi again, moving the post wasn't to lessen the prominence of the thread. Rather we just want to make sure the right kinds of discussions are in the right place, and in fact this board gets far more traffic than the bug board at this time. Keeping things structured in such a way helps with giving appropriate feedback to the studio.

@petazetas69 Unfortunately these aren't questions I can answer. Such changes would likely be announced by the studio in a statement or by a developer on their own channels, but for me my hands are tied, sorry.
