What about Turrets
Just putting my opinion on ion/officer turrets to the forum.
I think that both turrets being available via starcards (Officer and heavy class) is giving too much advantage to these classes especially if there are multiples of the class. Take the following scenarios>
Scene 1: Moving into an area in Death Star II map. You may have to battle 2 officers and 1 heavy(or more) all of whom have placed turrets. How do you survive?
Scene 2: Crait. This is a particularly good map for the First Order heavy class to score points. At the first opportunity, you place your ion turret to target the speeders and any rebel that dares to poke his head out of the tunnels. You can then wait - popping up occasionally to take a shot with your sentry gun or primary weapon or even an ion torpedo if equipped. If you get hit and lose health, just duck down into the trench until your health is restored all the time letting your turret score the points. If there are multiple heavies, the poor old speeders have no chance.
I often get about 8 - 10 thousand battle points using this method before I even have to go one on one with opposition players. If you have upgraded you card to Epic, if your turret gets destroyed it doesn't take long before you can place it again not to mention that if it's placement is not optimal, you can pick it up and move to another area.
I have given only 2 scenarios to keep this post short, Obviously there are many more when turrets give an advantage.
Don't get me wrong, I use my turrets extensively. Sometimes only using them as a distraction to opposing players. In the prior SWBF, turrets were only available via pickups and were a luxury with limited use time. I think this should be the same in SWBFII. I miss the pickups!!
