What do I do with Cards - Not gaining XP

WHAT I DO WITH THE CARDS I AM LOST

(CM Title updated with more specifics)

  • @canoso99 I think you’re referring to the Star Cards.

When you level up a class, be it trooper or Hero, you gain Skill Points (the stuff in blue), which you then can spend to unlock those Star Cards. Leveling up further unlocks further “level” of card - UncommonRare and Epic. You can then drop your earned Skill Points to upgrade the cards you like the most.

    An example...
Say you’re playing as Luke Skywalker and you find the Extended Push card (the one which makes your enemy go flying farther) very effective. However, you can see a major difference for every level you upgrade. You find the Epic level Star Card provides a 100% boost to how far your enemy is pushed. For Luke, Epic level cards unlock at Luke Level 25. So you have to get him there first before you can experience the 100% boost.

You're getting two types of XP: one which shows your Player Rank and one for that specific unit. Don’t confuse them with each other.

If you want that shiny Prestige level, get your units to level...

    • 61 (trooper)
    • 41 (hero)
    • 31 (reinforcements)

If you are earning 0 XP in every match, it could be a bug.

If you're playing the Campaign, Arcade mode, or Instant Action mode you won't gain any XP.

    Only Online modes grant XP

Anything under the Multiplayer Tile on the Play Tab, plus Co-Op mode. This includes: Co-Op, Galactic Assault, Supremacy, Heroes Vs Villains, Hero Showdown, Blast, Strike/Extraction, Starfighter Assault, and Hero Starfighters. The only Multiplayer exception is Ewok Hunt

Also there's a recent BUG that's making you not gain XP with the Heavy Class in the Supremacy mode, on the map Scarif only. But as a new player I think you can ignore this line.

    To quote Bagginses2, "Get good."

The offline play was the first thing that crossed my mind though. I remember being irritated when I couldn't spend my days without internet leveling up and unlocking star cards. Just very, very measly amounts of credits.
