Why didn't my pre-order payment go through?

On the 6th of may I pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront 2. I put in all the correct card information and details. I then received an email almost straight away thanking me for my order and that the receipt was below. Now i'm thinking "Ok it's been paid and now I don't have to worry about it anymore and just have to wait for the game to come out". Now, back to present day (5 MONTHS LATER) I receive another email titled "Origin Pre-Order Billing Problem" in this email it tells me that "there is a problem with your order". So now it states that something has prevented the order from going through. Now, if this was sent to me maybe a few days after my order then it would be fine and i could try again. After 5 months i have spent that money (not knowing it's the money I need to pay for the game and I think that the game has already been paid for). I don't have enough money to buy the game now, because of poor communication. Now I don't know what to do and I still want the game.

@BradTheAfrican Maybe you credit card information is correct but the billing address from you credit card is incorrect, that is verified in any website for fraudulent transactions. I apologize that you transaction didn't when thorough but EA or any advisor cannot do anything about it. They did not take any money from you account so there is nothing that EA can do. But if you actually have a receipt saying that EA took the money from you credit card you can contact an EA advisor
