Xbox One X crashes and turns off completely when crates are opened

I am still having the same issue and no fix has been mentioned so far.  I've pretty much given up on opening crates when I play at this point.

I started getting crashes and extreme fan output during Wolfenstein II, so I exchanged my system through the warranty. The new system is silent in Wolfenstein and does not crash when opening BF2 crates. Seems like this was a hardware failure. Everybody with an Xbox One X should still be under warranty so I'd recommend swapping now while you can.
