Xbox one x overheats and shuts down due to game being stronger then the hardware

Summarize your bug game causes Xbox one X to overheat due to your game exceeding the hardware (confirmed by a Microsoft support rep).

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 1/01/2020 and times before
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 1:14 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play the game on a Xbox one x with the celebration edition installed. play hero vs villeins, galactic supremacy, galactic assault. play for good 3 hours as it can happen randomly. i was lucky to be able to finish a few matches of galactic supremacy without it overheating the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? the Xbox One X shuts down and when it loads up it gives the overheating protection message saying the game console protects it self from overheating. ( from contacting Microsoft support they say the game runs more then what the console can handle and the processor shuts its self down to prevent overheating)
What do you expect to see? the game to be ran correctly without overheating the hardware used to play it

We're not receiving other reports of this happening. Can you try contacting Xbox support to see if they can offer any assistance? This could be a hardware issue with your console. Thanks!

@EA_Aljo I did contact then there the ones that told me that it's a processing issue with the game being stronger then the hardware

Seeing as how there are a very high amount of people playing on Xbox Ones, that doesn't seem likely as every console would be facing the same issue. At this time we're not aware of any issues with the game causing consoles to overheat. Are you sure yours is in a well-ventilated area?

Do you happen to have another console you can try? If you happen to have some canned air, it might be good to try blowing out your console as well.

I wish I had more to suggest, but there's just no issues we're aware of with Battlefront 2 causing Xbox Ones to overheat. I personally play on one as well. Are you on an older console?

That's the same one I have also. I was thinking maybe an older model that is well used might have a heating issue. Have you looked up any articles on Xbox One and overheating? They can give you some good tips to make sure it's getting enough ventilation and what issues to look out for.

@EA_Aljo I have and the thing is this is the only game that does this I was told to turn down or off some graphic setting which might have helped since j was able to play last night the only problem is it's random on how long before it's overheats
