Okay, I don't even understand the final phase of Geonosis. The counter says zero AT-TEs, while there are three active walkers with "Attack" signs on them. I'd guess it means the available reinforcements (i.e. how many walkers will be dropped after destroying the previous ones), but this makes it chaotic. In every other game of GA, the number of enemy reinforcements you see actually translates to the number of enemies you have to kill to win the phase (or to get to Overtime phase). Making it so that your objective counter is on zero, but still presenting you with three separate Attack orders is not too user-friendly.
Also, CIS side, 3rd phase. Our CP icon says "Defend" with a number on it. Is that the number of enemies? If so, why doesn't it say "Contested"? If Republic footsoldiers can contest it, why do AT-TEs even matter? The hell is going on, lol. From what I understand, an AT-TE needs to reach the final point. What are these numbers on the CP indicating then, when the walkers are way too far to do anything? And if that number indicates the defenders on it... Well, why would you indicate that? I also saw these random numbers on the final point while playing as the Republic, and being way out of reach with our every walker.
Making the first phase CIS objectives say "Secure" is also misleading. On every other map, this would be a label for the attackers, basically meaning "capture" - on Geonosis, it is for the defenders, meaning "defend". I understand that securing a position logically means making sure that no hostiles are present, but I see a lot of CIS guys trying to rush the console itself, believing that we have to be the ones capturing it.
To be honest, I've already had enough of Geonosis. I also got fed up with Crait when it launched (due to it being way too frequent in the rotation), but that took a lot longer than a day... It would be really nice to have a list of maps with tickboxes when searching for a game, outside of this quick join. I haven't seen Kamino or Yavin in weeks, while having a game on Kashyyyk two times a day - and now it's just Geonosis, the EOR Matchmaking from two Geonoses threw me to a rotation of another two Geonoses, lol.
