10 hour trial
I have origin access basic and I was just wondering if I will get a 10 hour trial when the game comes out?

Hey @Ozckar-K, short answer No, EA and Origin Access members will get a 10% discount on purchasing the game and OA Premier subscibers can play the deluxe edition of the game at launch.

Which means the game will likely suck so they don't want a free demo of sorts available for play, it would make people not fork over alot of money for a pile of trash.......that is what alot of people are saying and with EA's Reputation, i don't blame them and you guys have messed things up alot with games, like Mass Effect Andromeda, i mean you screwed that up, then abandoned it, leaving major bugs and massive plotholes in the story, another sign of how selfish EA is.
This game is honestly EA's last chance, if you screw this game up and then abandon it without admitting to your own mistakes like an adult should do, i will make sure to post and never buy a game from you again and i doubt i will be alone on that.
The game isn't released yet, so let's see what happens when folks have had a chance to play it.
What I can already add is that we're making a new self-contained, fully-realized Star Wars story. And we've opted not to have early access for this title in part to reduce the risk of story spoilers.
You didn't worry about it with other games with story in it when you put it on early access or even just a 10hr trial, why is this game any different? its an honest question.
People have compared this to the trial of Mass Effect Andromeda, which is a also story driven game with a 10 hour trial, but it was cut off at a certain point in the story so you couldn't progress past the planet Eos. I think the difference here is that Jedi Fallen Order has no multiplayer mode, so if they cut off progression at a point early in the storyline, then a lot of people wouldn't get their full 10 hours worth. With Mass Effect Andromeda, I played through the single player trial, then spent the rest of the 10 hours playing multiplayer, which isn't an option for Fallen Order. That's just my theory, though.

It just makes me think that the lack of a 10hr trial is not about spoilers, its more likely about the game being massively short and couldn't fill a 10yr trial and wanted to make sure people would pay for a very short game and then get miffed about it, they get their money, so that is how they went with it.
That is what i am thinking has happened, cause their logic is rather flawed, considering from what i hear, it is available now in some regions of the world, which means their 'concern for the spoilers' was never a reason for no early access and no 10hr trial, so it goes right back to 'short game' and they know it and don't want us to know that without spending the bloated price tag for it.

For a linear single player action game, I think 8 hours of game length is ideal. I wouldn't consider less than 10 hours short. The Uncharted games are shorter than 10 hours, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they're aiming for.
