Hi guys, just wondering for players that have tried Multiplayer Dogfight PVP, are you having a good time as Imps?I have lost more as Imps in Dogfight PVP than New Republic. My TIE Ceptor is hardly getting frags anymore against experienced New Republic Players. I am trying out the other Classes of Starfighters for Imps, but my team is usually full of players that try to be a hero against 3 or 4 New Republic Starfighters at one time instead of making a fallback and rally. I am not certain is it because of inexperienced players or balance currently that is making Imps lose more these past few days.Just wondering what its like for other players PVP experience?

@Reposter I love playing empire. I try to whenever I can, but it's exceptionally easier to play NR, when playing with friends and we get randomly assigned NR, we just laugh and enjoy playing the game on EZ mode. Cannonically though, the A,X,B,Y wings were much tankier than the imperial ships, and the TIEs are much slower than they are in canon, so it kind of makes sense that it would be balanced that way. It would be nice to have it be more balanced but the truth is most people like to play rebel, so we're stuck being the sort of NPC antagonists for them.

@Reposter I am only one person. But I can say that between the two it's far easier to play as NR, doesn't mean they win more, I can't say that with any sort of realistic certainty at all. You'd need someone like one of the game's developers with access to metrics to give that answer objectively.

My Steam Nick is Gunner, just got an Imp win. Was having fun with the Bomber, who says TIE Bomber is not useful still/

Okay, I had a few games just the last hour from this post. Still a lot of inexperienced Imps trying to be heroes with their Fighters and Ceptors. Had a good run with my X-wing.

@Reposter From day one i was playing as IMP. After60+ hours as IMP for last two days i go with NR. Its so much easier to play as NR that is incedible. A Wing is fast as devil on drugs, U Wing can take much more beating that TIE Reaper. I thing playing as IMP needs more practice and skill, specialy when You have bigA.. panel with displays is front of Your eyes. But my heart is still with Empire. Going back to my white Interceptor tomorrow.

@Reposter Haha, oh, I guess ask the development team? When I first posted here, I kind of thought that's what this forum was, a sort of feedback or answer forum like, a EA run stack. But apparently this is some sort of unmoderated just... I guess echo chamber? I don't rightly know.

@EmmyV7 Well, EA Mods do post here from time to time. From my own accounting, I have lost more as Imp than NR in Dogfights PVP.

Yesterday flying TIE Defender. Actually, now is a good time to fly a Defender, loaded with rockets, and joust new players on the NR side.

@BluesyMoo That is nice to know, but are other players doing the same thing? It would be great to know the Statistics and metrics of SW Squadrons, so that maybe we can comment about balance and future balance patches.
