BATTLEFRONT CD KEY ISSUE

EA has really done it this time, I have recently bought Star Wars Battlefront for the PC for someone in my family (I bought it at Walmart) and I just went to go and put the product code in, it says the product code has already been used. It's only been out of the packaging for 25 minutes and I cant  use it, any idea's?
