Could we petition to get EA to put games back on Steam? One problem with Origin is that it's frustrating using the Origin Platform especially since EA doesn't even let you throttle downloads. Before ...
@siirlong As MTC says it's unlikely to stray from Origin any time soon.
However thanks for the feedback. Download throttling is one of the most requested feature for Origin, and hopefully it can be implemented soon.
I would also appreciate this feature.
I think the Origin platform is too integral to the functioning of this game, so even if the game is ever brought to Steam, which I doubt, Origin would be required as an additional client, similar to how certain Ubisoft titles on Steam still require uPlay.
I think the official stance is that EA and Valve have conflicting views on DLC distribution, which is why EA games are no longer being released on Steam. Some games that orgiinally were on Steam (Crysis 2 and Dragon Age II) were pulled once premium DLC got released.
