Battlefront grain effect

Here is a screenshot of the issue. http://i.imgur.com/nkw76eW.png

I have noticed a film grain/distortion like effect while playing the full release, I played the beta and closed alpha and did not notice this in game however during the beta on my last monitor I did notice it during the loading only like right before I enter the match where it describes the objectives. Now I notice it everywhere. My old monitor was a Samsung S24D300H, 24", 1080p.

I am running Windows 10, a Radeon HD 7870 2GB, AMD FX 8320 CPU, 16GB of ram and my monitor is the BenQ GL2460 (24" 1080p) which I will link the specs in a spoiler tag.

I have tried every preset, set post processing to low as well as high and ultra, turned off motion blur, tried different resolutions and resolution scaling and it's all the same. I get this on my old 1024x768 monitor as well as my 1920x1080 BenQ but it's harder to see on the old one.

Here are screenshots of my current settings. http://i.imgur.com/c4TwY6r.png

  • No, sorry, I don't think there's a way to manually remove it and I don't know of any config tweaks.

Taking a look at the ProfileOptions_profile document (your local version of your options settings) I can't see anything for the film grain, sorry.

@ChelseaScarlet Hey I don't think there's a way to fully remove it, but as I understand if your set Post Process Quality to low, if should be much less noticeable.

    Thanks.

@EA_DavidThank you but I tried that and it did not change how noticable it was, it looks the same on low as on ultra. Is there a way to completely remove post-processing? So you are saying it is the game then and not something I'd need to possibly replace?
