We're not completely clear about what can be causing the issue. Not unfortunately after reviewing most of the specs of all the players who contacted us about the issue it looks like all of you are using a GPU below the minimum required.
From what I have been told for this particular game all graphic card below the requirement don't have the proper tech to run the game. Somehow you can manage to make it run smoothly, but you might also encounter such very weird issue like the Han Solo one.
As I said it's been sent to some Battlefront tech specialist, but so far it looks like it's simply related to the GPU not being powerful enough.
Given the situation, my recommendation would be to avoid playing this kind of map for now if you are utilizing a GPU that is below the minimum specifications for the game.
@EA_Alain I get that, but I haven't done anything to make the game run smoothly, In the beta I couldn't play the game because it kept crashing when I launched it. My friend told me to run it in window mode so I did. And yes it made me be able to play the game. From that moment I've been playing the game on medium/high and even ultra through borderless window mode. And I really do get it that it is below the minimum specs, But is there just no way for them to fix the han solo issue at least? I can play the maps with them being that white aswell. I don't mind that at all. It's just that I cannot even play as Han Solo in any way. In certain positions I can see the whole Han Solo character, but I've compared the quality of the Han Solo character with a friend and the character looks like * compared to what he has. And my other characters are perfectly fine. It's just weird that is has to be this way. Well don't expect me to buy a graphic card any time soon just to play this game. And I don't think a lot of others will buy one either as for some people it is a struggle to get a new pc and the same thing counts for me. My friend bought me this game because I was struggling getting 10 dollars and the game was around 60. Just like I said before, I completely understand the devs that it is below the minimum but can't they just do it so others with a HD 6800 series can play the game the same way as others do with a gpu above the minimum? I'm looking forward to see a solution coming in for this. If not don't expect me to buy anything else for the game unless I get myself a new PC before that time.
It is really out of my field here, so I can't answer in their names. It's now in their hands and if I get more information about it I'll update this post to let you know.
As you said, fixing an issue happening because you're below specs would mean reducing the specs of the game somehow. I really don't have enough knowledge in that field to tell you if it can be easily done or not.
I'll keep an eye out on this issue to add details to the case and as soon as I know more I'll update the post. 🙂
@EA_Alain I might've found the issue here. I did a clean install of my graphics drivers once again and this time I installed the old driver that I had before (The stable version). After that I don't have any map glitches as I had before but Han Solo is still glitching too bad ☹️ Well here you go, the proof that the AMD beta driver sucks balls.
Let's hope they can fix the Han Solo issue now due to me finding this problem?
Beta driver can look amazing but are usually unstable, it's always better to prefer a stable older version of graphic driver. (Or just as you did, try the Beta one but if you get too many problem, roll back to the previous version) 🙂
Hi , I have the same problem @IAmZeWolf . And i have a AMD HD 6870 RADEON and I have a Intel graphics i5 2310 2.9ghz . So the solution it's for the moment , don't play with Han solo ?
If i need to change the GPU , if I bought any gpu that reach the minimun required , the problem is go away ?

@BlackHawk_Ags I think so yes. But I am not going to buy a new GPU untill I get enough money for a complete new computer instead of loose parts.
Bad luck to us ☹️ , i don't have money to buy a New GPU right now , but maybe next year .

@BlackHawk_Ags Yes, the connection is all fine for me usually atleast. Sometimes it * up pretty bad but I am used to that since I always play with American friends. Gonna start getting myself some * together, next week is going to be my first part :D a new monitor awww yeaa but I love how none of the devs etc even fixed this issue yet. I guess they dont care

@BlackHawk_Ags They're completely the same, useless piece of * beta drivers. Wasted my time installing it. Have to restart my pc 2 times just to install the old once again to play vid games.

@BlackHawk_Ags & @Ranger935 Well, we're the only ones actually trying to fix this I guess. I am not even playing SW Battlefront anymore unless they fix it I guess. Got myself a new game named Rainbow Six Siege. I will play the game when I get my new computer and that's going to be in a few months I guess.. Unless they fix it ofcourse.
I have the same issue with my Radeon HD 5750
Han Solo is totally unplayable. Also when you go inside the caves some of the walls are too whited out, but I can deal with that.
Other than this the game works pretty good
I am having this problem as well. Han Solo glowing bug. Can't play with him as I can't see anything. Has there been any fix yet? I don't want to have to have a legal fight to get my money back because a company doesn't want to fix anything. My GPU is within the listed minimums and I paid hard earned money for this game and am not getting what I paid for. I really don't care who is at fault for these problems, my only concern is that it is rectified ASAP.
