Battlefront PC Party Issue
- Anonymous10 years ago
Ok so i tried changing the clients to use different ports in Origin and through the windows registry.... and then forwarding through the firewall. We would get to play maybe 1 game before getting kicked.....I tried disabling UPNP which seemed to do the trick, but would cause other applications problems on my home network. I finally i found the setting for attached to change the NAT filtering from secured to open. the manual had little to say as to what exactly this did, and sadly the best answer i could find was a yahoo answers page. Flipping this to open allowed me to reactivate upnp and we have had no connection issues since. Router is a Netgear R6400. Its ridiculous that this problem exists when it seams to go back to BF3 but hopefully this will help someone else in the future.
