Battlefront Stops Working With Death Star DLC

Hi, I bought the disc version of Star Wars Battlefront last December and the key code version of the Season Pass in May/June. Base game, outer rim and bespin DLC's worked fine. However, now that I have installed the Death Star DLC., my game crashes as soon as I load it with 'Star Wars Battlefront has stopped working' Below is a list of things I've tried to no success:

Altered audio settings in control panel

Disabled origin in-game

Used the command line arguments -novid -noborder -windowed

Uninstalled and Reinstalled

Repair Game

Can you please help.

    Hi Shadowdweller,

    I had this exact same problem.  I've been trying for a week with EA help to fix it, with no success.

    I finally went and bought a slightly more powerful graphics card, and the game works fine now.  It seems that they increased the graphics requirements a bit without telling anyone.

    I was using an Radeon X7 200  3GB card.  (no longer works)

    Now using a Radeon X7 240  4GB card  (works fine).

    Hope this helps.   Before you buy a new card, try to lower your graphics settings and see if that helps.

    Hi, thanks for the response and glad i'm not the only one having issues. The problem is though I don't know how to lower my graphics settings and additionally I have a R9 270 Graphics card. I don't know much about graphics cards but I did a bit of research and its triple the price of the graphics card you recently bought and a latter model so still struggling to understand why the game would be unable to run on my graphics card.

    I can't make any guarantees, but hopefully it'll help. 


    Let us know how you get on, there are some more steps you can try if you're still having the problem.
