@McDuble33download the latest patch 1.04 and finish that fight arena. once you leave on the Mantis and land at your next planet. turn off the console and reload - BD1 should return

Summarize your bug I was on the Zeffo planet and died. I respawned without BD-1. I couldn't reproduce it and unfortunately shadowplay wasn't running so I couldn't save a replay, but I will try to list as many details as I can remember.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not 100% sure, I died to a group of troopers(to a rocket to be precise). It's the first time you encounter a rocket launcher stormtrooper.
What happens when the bug occurs? BD-1 disappears. Meditating does not bring him back. Dying again does not bring him back. Using a workshop does not bring him back. He appears to be not reinitialised, since trying to use the map or talk does nothing(when trying to use healing, a noise similar to when you can't interact with sth plays).
What do you expect to see? BD-1 should respawn with the player. Restarting the game does not fix it so I am stuck. This seems urgent.
In the screenshots you can see that I don't have him, but in menu he is still there.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start up the Asteroid Jail mission.
What happens when the bug occurs? BD-1 vanishes to never be seen again.
What do you expect to see? BD-1 to be there.
Just came to the mission where you're trapped on the asteroid, break out and fight in the arena.
It's scripted that you start without BD-1, but it would seem that my game bugged to the point where I never got BD-1 back, even if I was supposed to.
Through even more buggy work, I got through the elevator part and to the actual arena, still without BD-1 even if there's a quick dialogue piece where BD-1 speaks.
I tried all I could to possibly fix it. Die which solved the elevator part, reload my save, quit the game and reload my save, finish the arena without BD-1 and as a result finish the mission.
None of this made BD-1 come back, and now I'm on Kashyyyk without BD-1, practically making the game unplayable and unable to finish it. I can't heal, can't slice, can't overload and all the other functions of BD-1.

All in all it kinda bummed me out to see it, since I very much enjoyed the game having played 10 hours straight in it with no issue.
I do however understand a newly released game can have bugs not known.

Im having the same exact problem. I can’t believe they didn’t catch a game breaking bug like this.
Exactly the same thing happened to me. BD1 completely disappeared after jail mission.
I have a bad feeling either EA isn’t going to say anything and just make everyone start over that got stuck or they’ll just take a week or two and still not say anything
I’m having this exact same problem. Any word on a fix yet?!
