Bd1 scomp link

I’ve just started playing the game and I’m 23% way through and I’ve just come across bd 1 scomp link. But it ain’t working!! It showed the cut scene of him repairing bd1 but after it he ran off and cal said let’s try it out so I walk over to the bit where your suppose to try it out and every time I go up to the control what your suppose to try it out on it just doesnt work I’ve reloaded the game numerous times just to spawn in the same spot and nothing changed still no bd 1 and scomp link ain’t working there is no other way out other then using the scomp link which doesn’t work!!!! for some un know reason what’s going on EA because I’m not restarting from the beginning if that’s the case  ????
