Best dogfight ever

So far: 17/2 best, 18/7 highest. I usually fly A-Wing and Tie-Interceptor.

Sounds like you are a pretty good pilot and continually improving so I bet you'll be back with a higher score yet.

I use the x-wing exclusively, and have really good scores most of the time. Highest score and kills is 3325 points, 24-2 with 1 assist so far. Best deathless game is 3080 points 21-0 with 4 assists. I play on PSVR with a Hotas setup. I’ve noticed that it takes a game where most of your team is decent at staying alive, but terrible marksman, and combined with below average players on the other team, but not all the time. Things need to work out well in the battle also. You obviously have some skill to get a score that high, even a couple of times. Mental determination that you can win goes a long way as well. Great scores.

Have you tried the assault shield with the barrage rockets yet? Extremely effective after a 180 slide. I’ve noticed not having guided missiles doesn’t alert a pilot you are lining up a shot too. Must have doubled my score. 

I’ll send you an add next time I am on as well. Internet has been a bit iffy lately. If you time the shield when the first bolts hit you get the most out of it. The rockets are great against tie bombers, and for spinning around with charged blasters and melting ties. I get an average of 4-5 per game at least. Haven’t gone back to guided missiles yet! The stealth is far too good without them. Cheers 🥂 

If you want to improve I would suggest to forget this "stealing kills" thing.

It's 5v5, not 5*1v1

Going into 5*1v1 (so nobody "steal kills") is the worst team strategy, because that mean that every kill from your team will take much more time than if you were focusing the target with 2 or 3 players (and then nobody care of who have taken the kill)

When I'm shoot at by only 1 player , I usually ignore him and just try to shake him off, while looking if one of my teammates would not be chased by another enemy,  or is looked into a 1v1 so I can help him. Then we can secure a kill faster, and push our numerical advantage to score more kills.

Dont know if I'm à good player but I'm saying this with a 23/4/0 as the best game, or a 17/0/8 for a deathless, and 0,65 win ratio (with 200 games stats becomes hard to move)

My most epic dogfight yet was in an A-wing. I got 16/0. It was sad the other team only got 14 kills. So I personally outscored the entire other team. It felt good. I've got close to that a couple other times, but not often.

I really love the dogfights where the teams are very well matched and you end up with a real nail biter, each team going point for point, till you get to 29- 29 and it all comes down to someone on one team or the other getting that one kill. I also love being on a big comeback dogfight team. When you're on a team that looks down and out, but that team just comes together, each player chips in a little bit here and there and things turn around, turn into a win, those comeback teams are a whole lot of fun to be on.
