    One fix worked for me: Exit the logitech profiler. It worked then.

@The_Phief I doubt you need to make any changes in Steam as the game itself launches from Origin. So in game, you don't have the option to change controls on the flight stick ? have you tried a different USB port ?

To add my context, I have the Logitech Force 3D Pro which is a close brother to the Extreme and I am using the Origin version of the game and I do not have this issue.
