well if you got the game from steam, you can right click the game, manage, controller settings... and switch the right stick to "joystick mouse" and adjust the sensitivity and remember to configure the action of the "right stick Click" to the corresponding button and well... that is how i did. I have 600 DPI and got the in-game sens at 6... I configured the right stick sense from the steam configuration to "0.200" points and feels quite smooth.
it is a good solution and does not affect the gameplay in bad ways at all, just a little annoying to navigate through the menu.

I'm aware that you can emulate m&k controls. Problem is that it messes with UI elements, and obviously navigating through the menu. Which unfortunately would be the only way to play the game with competent sens... I posted this in the bugs section in the hopes of EA fixing it which is clearly never going to be the case.
