They dont appear in the flight stick devices list. My thrustmaster warthog hotas joystick and throttle both appear. Also, for some odd reason button 13 on my joystick is not recognized by the game (but it works in other games and in windows). This needs to get fixed indeed. Guys, check in CONTROLS, scroll all the way to the bottom. There you can choose between 3 devices. Pedals are usually not in there. I found that devices that lack buttons are not in there... is that a coincidence? I have pedals as well.Workaround so you stay sane:Install Joystick Gremlin + VJOY. Install VJOY1 device using VJOY, start Gremlin, select pedals, add "REMAP to VJOY X-Axis" to the axis of your pedals. Save and activate profile in Gremlin. Start game, select VJOY in game options' CONTROLS. Then map pedal axis. Enjoy the game.

The new patch doesn't solve the issue, let's hope the next one will. Let's keep this thread active ! 🙂

Same issue, beyond ridiculous that you need 3rd party apps to get the game to even see the rudders.

Just bought the game, VERY disappointed that it does not recognise VKB pedals, couldn't believe it! Star Citizen, FS2020 recognises them without any issues whatsoever, yet this game....Was really looking forward to playing in VR, guess I'll wait it out a bit. If its not fixed I'll just refund, VKB pedals are hardly an unknown product here.Playing the game having to use twist on the joystick when I've got perfectly decent pedals on the floor is absolutely annoying to the point of putting me off the game.I'm not using third party apps when all other games I play recognise them out of the box.

I also have this EXACT same problem with the same set up.... PC , thrustmaster warthog stick and throttle both appear, but there is no option for a 3rd device.

Same problem here. I have:
VKB Gunfighter mkII joystick
Virpil MongoosT-50CM2 Throttle
VKB pedals
Stick and throttle are detected and work. But not matter what I do, the game does not see the pedals, they do not show up as device 3 as they should.
Works fine in every other game / sim I have, and Windows 10 sees them fine also.
Annoying.

Workaround so you stay sane:

I have the same setup (Warthog Throttle and Stick, VKB Mk.4 Pedals) and can not get the pedals to recognize in game at all. Please let me know if anyone comes up with a solution

Same problem, vkb t-rudder not recognized but if I map it in vjoy using Joystick Gremlin, the game see it as it should.
