I skipped Battlefront II because of the lack of any meaningful support for clans to engage in real competitive gameplay in Battlefront I. In fact, some sections of the community were biased *against* clans because they wanted more of a casual experience.Can we please have some news on whether SW: Squadrons will support clans with features like clan tags and an easy to use UI to get all clan members into the same squadron?Is there any hope of private servers for matches / tournaments? Thanks

Idiots.Absolute idiots. Such a simple thing to have a customisable clan tag. Can only conclude that EA is dead against clans.

@oxRoguExo I wouldn't go so far to call them idiots.This is not a triple A game for a start and I can see a ton of their budget has gone towards VR, which ultimately takes budget away from other features.I feel clan tags alone are relatively useless if they don't combine with many other features such as leaderboards etc, and from what I know so far it's not heavily focused on multiplayer. As I've mentioned before, this is the Star Wars equivalent of DOOM, played for the campaign not the multiplayer (Without the Rip n Tear, more Lock n Load).

Hey @oxRoguExoWhilst i'm not aware of any of those features currently in the game, there is no saying they haven't been implemented since beta or have simply been hidden away.If they don't currently exist then it's possible they might add to the game if it works out as well as they hoped, but honestly unless we get an official word then i'm afraid it's just a waiting game.

This would be great to see in the game, for sure!

He said it was built with BOTH formats (Single Screen and VR) in mind from the ground up. -Just to Clarify 🙂

Can y'all at ea implement in game clans like destiny where as your squadmates on any platform and join in a clan and able to make things easier to play with each other? That is a wonderful suggestion as even the game isnt out yet but a few hours down the road! So many people forming clans/squads on facebook including myself! Totally worth it ea 😉 make it an even more dominate game like cod: warzone does with activision accounts 😎

I think that's sort of what we're all looking for. Destiny's clan integration is great. Would love the idea of being able to crate a little logo in-game that would show up on our ships.
Seems like that wasn't quite something they had in mind, but could always be something to get implemented if theres enough demand for it.

Seeing how nearly all the reviews are saying that the main thrust of this game is its multiplayer aspect, that argument that clan support is not important is dead in the water.
