10 years agoCPU Temperatures
Back when the beta came out, on my pc (Mini-Itx build with stock fans and stock CPU cooler) i remember the game running around at high 60 to mid 70 C's (CPU) when playing on Hoth. My questions are: ...
Hello,
I have the same issue.
From the moment of starting the game the CPU temperature increasing constantly.
After 10-15 minutes of gameplay it becomes 68-69 degrees. Unacceptable.
Meanwhile GPU temperature is around 59 degrees. Never higher.
I play at max settings 1920x1080
My specs:
AMD Phenom 2 X6 1100T 3.84Ghz, 8GB, r9 290 4GB
My CPU red zone is 65 degrees.
Yes, my Friend is overclocked a bit, but I haven't met a game which behave like this with CPU temperature.
I can tell 10-20 Heavy games, and I have 59-60 degrees CPU in all of them.
Even if I lower the settings to High or Low the CPU temperature rises maybe a bit slover but nevertheless.
Is there anything I can do? or is there a hope for a patch?
P.S.
Have a Very Very Very Very Very Nice Day!
Clean out the heat sinks and check all fans and vents carefully. Overheating is a hardware problem, not a software problem at all.
Hello,
In most cases overheeting is indeed hardware problem.
I cleaned my computer in September. Yet I opened and vacuum cleaned it again just now out of principle. It is quite clean.
Didn't help.
By the way my case is AeroCool Strike-X, and vent is Thermaltake V-1 and it is really cold.
Just to mention all the details I have to say that I changed CPU grease in Spring.
All other games work properly at maximum 60 degrees CPU after many hours of gameplay. Most of time 57-58 degrees.
Just in case - Witcher 3, GTA 5, Battlefield 4, Planetside 2, Arma 3, Unity, all possible Crisises, and many many other work well.
So, it seems this time it is Software problem because it happens only with Battlefront.
Just be informed about such issue...maybe someday fix will come. Until then I can't play.
Best Wishes,
