I am having the same issue as the one on this forum post. Are we really not going to get a fix for this?
I live in Oklahoma and am also having this problem. Can we please receive some guidance?
- 10 years agoThe fix is apparently to sit and wait until November 18th because EA doesn't understand their own program enough to fix a problem. I'm not sure if I trust EA software now to enjoy the game even when we can play it.
My only compensation has been two 15% off coupon codes, as if I trust any EA software enough to buy it now even at a discount. - ApprovedAnonymous10 years ago

Can you all try uninstalling Origin, then download and installing latest version via:
https://www.origin.com/download
Please get back to me if that changes anything for you.

We would like for someone to say something to address our issues please.

That did the trick! Thank you so much
- 10 years agoI reinstalled origin twice last night. The current version is no different than that version. I still have this issue. I should not have to jump through this many hoops to play a game that I spent 70 bucks on, a day after I should have been able to play it.

So, its seems time flies by and yet nothing has been done.
"We stand by our games" kind of ironic, I will be asking for a refund asap, and cancelling my subscription to SWTOR.
I have tried over looking to may things over the years EA, since 2011 origin account, and even longer player and defender of EA. Not any longer, Ea has fudged things up to many times to count. I was my hands of EA.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Origin has done nothing.
- 10 years agoI really wish that EA would just use Steam. Steam is obviously the better game distribution client, I've never had a problem with Steam pre-loads and playing games. I've never had a problem on steam of my account being inexplicably banned, preventing me from logging in, purchasing content, or playing online in a game, which had happened with Origin. And the one time I accidentally bought a game on Steam their help/support service was very easy to use and quick to reply. I didn't have to create a second account just to figure out why my original account was locked out of everything. I didn't have to spend four hours sitting on a chat room with some random person who finally ended up telling me that we can't fix the problem and we can't offer you anything to make your situation better.
The origin client is obviously the problem we are having here, and either nobody at EA knows how to fix it, or they just don't care. Either one of those options is highly disturbing to me for a company that insists on using their client, and only their client to purchase and play a game. Ubisoft has their own client with uplay. You don't see them blocking us from buying and installing Assassin's Creed or Far Cry on Steam. - ApprovedAnonymous10 years ago
Would this be the reason my son can't play online with Xbox one. He can play the offline games but it says he's not logged into ea sports. He is under my email, why can't he play? Nhl16, titanfall and others he can play online and other games outside of ea sports and origin. Don't tell me to set all the settings to allow access because it already is.
