Error: To continue, please ensure that you are signed in to Origin

I'm getting an error saying: "To continue, please ensure that you are signed in to Origin in Online Mode and that Origin In Game is activated".

I have Origin In Game activated and I am signed in to Origin and in Online Mode. Also after activating Origin In Game yesterday the sound has started

cracking. I checked the tips from EA to fix this but I have no enhancements active and I am using the 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD quality).

So I can't access my profile and I can't check out the new DLC coming since that error message shows up every time I try to go there.

    I called the origin tech support today, and they ran me through a bunch of stuff that was previously mentioned, and we also cleared the cache. Nothing worked.

    Any progress on this error yet?

    I have the same problem and none of the fixes worked.

    I tried:

    - portforwarding

    - install on C than on D

    - complete reinstall

    - verify installation

    - checked every button an setting

    - disabled Windows firewal and Avira Vir-Scanner

    - shutdown of every single process and program I was able to

    -  switched from german to us account

    Its rubbish.  Ive also tried everything here and nothing.

    Cheers EA - its not like I just spent £90 on a brken game or anything.

    After I switched off toddyhancer, everything worked fine for me.

    If using any mods, try to start the game without, or reemove them.

  • Me and several others have had this problem as well (link below), and @EA_David has tried to help but to no avail. Now it seems EA have gone silent and I'm no longer getting any replies to messages or help from EA moderators (Despite the fact I actually want to buy the season pass, I can't because I keep getting the same error message:

    'To continue, please ensure that you are signed into origin in online mode and that origin in game is activated'.

  • I had the same problem.

    Removing the origin folder from AVAST (in all components) solved the problem. (rule: D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\*)
