Since launch I have not be able to play this game at all since launch. It repeatedly crashes my PC and I have done uninstall and reinstalls. Made sure my drivers for CPU/GPU/Bios are all up to date, and I run into the same issue. I can't get past the initial settings setup when first booting up the game when my game decides to spike my CPU usage to 100% and hard freeze my PC and I have to force shut down my PC to get it to restart, I see no error legs and it's ONLY with this game, no other game does this.Specs:CPU: 10850k i9GPU: 2060 SuperRAM: 32GBStorage it is on: 2TB SSD that isn't even half full.OS: Windows 10.Image included of one of my last tests where it was spiking the CPU right before a crash.This is very disheartening and hope I can get a fix.

@EA_Atic Yeah I figured it out, apparently my bios for motherboard had another update that was more recent, and once the bios was updated again, it has been running smoothly! I apologize I forgot to reply to this!

Hey, @KVet1992 make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Star Wars: Squadrons and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have.

Im having same issue, high settings and low. tried clean boot. Crashes my whole PC. Drivers are up to date. I was able to get it to mission 4 through just luck of not crashing once, but now all my progress is somehow missing too after a crash. It is asking me to pick my pilot all over again!! Is this somehow related to server maintenance going on today? I was hoping the newest patch would fix the problem. no luck yet.

Clean boot hasn't worked for me, trying in compatibility mode hasn't worked. I've done reinstalls of all the drivers and still have had no luck.

@KVet1992 have you tried setting volumetric quality to low or medium? I've read somewhere else that it's somehow bugged. I couldn't even get past the pilot customization (first) screen, and setting that option down to low/medium did the trick.

Since you can't get past the initial screens (and can't get to the graphic options screen), use nVidia GeForce Experience App, and set the game to the lowest possible graphic options. Game should start fine, then go to the graphic options screen and set everything back up again, minus volumetric quality.

Don t know if this helps.
I had hard crashes too, but when exiting the game.
I updated my Win 10 OS. After the update i had no crashes. May be give it a try.
