Game crashes - DirectX claims I have physically removed my GPU.

Once I "press to continue" to see the main menu, some weird pink and white texture-boxes appear followed by the screen turning all white with a black box and the sound of two error-message windows popping up. Then the game exits fullscreen into a black window with two error messages above it.

I have tried solving it by doing things like try different AMD driver versions, "updated" DirectX 9 and lowering my audio to 16-bit.

First time I launched the game I was able to reach the settings menu where I changed nothing but "Audio->Dynamic Range" but then the game crashed the same way as described above once I tried to join a session. There were several black texture boxes flashing on some main menu screens.
Now I'm stuck right before the main menu appears.

@mrjohnspeed this error usually comes up if your system does not meet them minimum system requirements. In your case the requirements for the videocard:

Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB

You need at least a card with 2GB shared memory which supports Direct X11 in order to play SW:Battlefront on your system.

    Cheers
