Got Battlefront 1 on disc yesterday for Xbox One. Can't install

This could just be a problem with the Microsoft Store, but I don't know. It says I can buy to own (while the disc is in the console), but I can't install it. The description states that I can only play it through EA Access, despite the fact that I own a physical copy. Anyone got any advice (I'm not going to get EA Access just so I can play a game that I already own)

Edit: I have used the manage games and add-ons button to see if I can install from there. It claims that the game is already installed, but when I try launching it, it either:

   a) doesn't work

   b) claims I need to install it (even though it also claims that it's already installed, which is probably why I can't install it)

or

   c) denies that I own it

Again, this could just be a problem with the Microsoft Store, but I feel that sending a complaint to the devs is more likely to solve the problem, as I have never experienced a similar problem before and don't own many EA games

  • Managed to solve problem by removing disc, uninstalling game, restarting console and then reinserting the disc. Thanks for the help

  • I bought StarWars Battlefront a while ago and I wish to revisit it. I insert the game into my Series X to re-install it and nothing shows up. No install progress, no error notifications or anything like that. What can I do short of buying the game again?
