@the_lordlaser I ended up solving this by starting a new save, unfortunately. As far as I can tell, there's not a workaround - or at least, no one has told me of it.
@CrazyHairGuy11 Thanks for the reply. I will give it a try. Otherwise this goes into the bin and I can not recommend this game without any fix/patch/update.
- @the_lordlaser Yeah, I haven't encountered this in any subsequent playthroughs, so it seems to be kinda a one-off bug. The game itself is really good, but having a random unpreventable softlock in the middle of it does kinda take something away from the experience. Cheers!
