HOTAS sensitivity settings do not work

Product: Star Wars: Squadrons
Platform:Steam-PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? TheYellowMask
Are you playing in VR? No
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Dogfight
What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. The sensitivity settings of the flight joystick (VKB Gladiator MK 2) axes do not work, at any position from 0% to 100% the joystick behaves the same. Very high sensitivity, precise aiming at the target is simply impossible. The scope bounces around the target, requires microscopic movements to accurately aim at the target. At the same time, in Elite Dangerous and IL-2 Sturmovik, joystick behaves correctly, providing very accurate guidance.
Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. In training mode, in campaign mode
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 2020/10/05 16:22
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Can play, but it's highly frustrating
What happens when the bug occurs? The sight jumps around the target, it is impossible to accurately aim the sight at the target.
What do you expect to see? Precise and confident aiming with the flight joystick
Which ship were you playing? If not applicable, just answer "no" or "none." Republic interceptor
What components were you using? VKB Gladiator MK 2
Which customizations (if any) were you using? no customization

I tried to remove dead zones at 20%, as described in the next topic. Dead zones really disappeared after reassigning the axes, but this did not affect the accuracy of pointing in any way, the joystick is still too sensitive.
I reduced the sensitivity of all three axes by 40% through the manufacturer's joystick control program, but to my amazement, this had almost no effect on the behavior of the scope in game. Conclusion - at the moment the game on the flight controller is unplayable.

  • I have reduced my flight stick's sensitivity to 0 and it's still the same. I'm always over turning behind enemies.
