I had to leave two games consecutively (one only had 9 players and I still got penalized) and after that I have ad the penalty for days. Should I expect it to go away anytime soon or should I just delete the game?
I'm not sure when the penalty elapses but from reports from our clan members there seems to be almost no impact on finding matches with the mark on your account. I wouldn't worry tbh.
Game might throw you into the Zavian Abyss in 4 out of 5 matches for days as a punishment.
That's what's happening to me at least.
It's the worst map and I have to play it over and over and over again.
Don't know if it's related to me leaving early from any match though.
I wouldn't mind longer waiting times if I only got to play other maps once in a while.
That's RNGesus for you right there. I think most people had their fair share of it as well. I played Empire for almost all of my placement matches

The devs said you have to play and complete matches for the leaver penalty to decrease. They didn't say what the formula is, however.
Update: After finally getting my HP Reverb G2 and thus migrating to VR I've had a couple of crashes on the Yavin Map due to the bug with Volumetrics settings over Medium, toggling VR on/off during matches to find better settings, etc. and thus incurred a leaver penalty. After playing a couple of matches, it was gone. I'm not sure how many matches are good for a match that you left, though.
So just play matches without leaving and eventually it should go away, how long it will take will depend on how many matches you have left before. Also be sure to wait long enough after the match for the scores, XP and Dailies to update before you leave.
I didn't get any xp points, during "Fleetbattles against AI" , and no challenge points either after winning several battles.What I am asking myself, why does this happen, you got thrown out of sessions for no reason, and get punished for them.Is this how EA trying to solve the issues?It's pretty annoying, if you ask me.In all fairness, they really need to address this annoying problem!These are the same kind of problems the new Battlefront games have.
