You realize that you can turn off cross compatibility and play ONLY with console players right? If you're that butt hurt about it.
Edit: Also, joysticks are superior to tiny thumb sticks on a controller for piloting aircraft. That's why they are in aircraft. What do you want people to tell you? You have the option of playing without a joystick, that's your choice. Welcome to life.
- 5 years ago@JimboniusMaximus I know its my choice, but I would have liked to have the option to play with only console players so at least we all start with the same input / controller. I simply cannot find any game with crossplay turned off. I don't hate the PC community, I used to play only on PC myself with my 386 playing TIE fighter and Wolfenstein 3D for those that remember. Its just that its so much easier to gain advantage on PC over console players from my experience on this game. I am happy that other players are not experiencing this and that they are able to play well as console players versus PC players. However, as I said, since launch, I haven't seen a single game were PC players don't dominate. Not one.

@alexz3This is perhaps 'cause PC players are used to joysticks and HOTAS since the X-Wing times (and DCS, Elite Dangerous, etc).
And whatever the console community thinks, a joystick is far superior than a gamepad for piloting (i.e. real F22's don't use console pads to fly them).
And nowadays you can just plug a HOTAS on your console, so we are even. My point is, don't blame PC players if you are not good enough yet.
Also, I can only see one or two PC player in every match at most.
Safe flights!- 5 years ago@vicvader77 my experience is totally different, only 1-2 console player vs PC players.
PC players own console players in every game.
No fun for anyone.
