in star wars battlefront the game on ps4 the star cards activate themselves

In star wars battlefront for ps4 the star cards activate themselves which is annoying especially if your using a jump pack. It can kill you if your using thermal detonators because of the explosions and annoying if your powers that you use activate on their own. hero characters and villains do the same thing you will use Darth Vader force choke and it will say that you used his lightsabor throw at the same time. this needs to be fixed or updated. I cant tell you how many times i have died due to the wrong ability not activating when its supposed too. I will be using a main gun (rebel blaster) and the ion torpedo launcher will activate when i am 1 shot away from killing a enemy. Then like i said before i die. please fix this in every aspect of the game. If anyone else is having these issues please add to what i posted.

    Go through your settings and the assignments to your game-pad. SWBF will allow multiple commands to a single button. Looks like you have multiple commands assigned to a single key.

    I'm having the same problem, and no one else I ask has this problem. It's making the game unplayable. It happened to me in the beta too and I just assumed it was a beta problem, now I'm furious that is still happening. It also seems like when one goes off on its own the others will also go off shortly after. It wastes my charges and my grenade and jump pack are never ready when I need them cause they went off randomly.

    I figured it out, I think. Go to settings, controls. There's a setting called touch pad gestures, it allows you to use the touch pad to activate star cards. We're probably accidentally touching the pad and setting off our star cards.
