I can hear menu music but I can't do anything, Task manager shows that game is not responding. The game was working fine on 28.02.2022 and suddenly started freezing on 02.03.2022 (I didn't play on 1.03). Because of that, I think date is the problem. Unfortunately I can't verify that, because EA app isn't working after I change system date. I already tried: reinstalling the game, reinstalling EA app, clean boot, but nothing helped. Problem solved itself after installation of new version of nvidia GPU driver released on 22.03.2022. So it was just a simple driver problem after all.Thank you for your efford anyway 🙂

@RookWoodek, alright, thanks for trying either way!

Just a question; are you playing on a device that has both integrated graphics and a separate GPU by any chance? Disabling/Uninstalling integrated GPU in device manager didn't solve my problem. Game still freezes just after Jedi logo :/

@RookWoodek, odd.

Another thing we can try.

Can you go to this link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109

After downloading the full package, double click on it. This will prompt the package to self-extract.

*Be sure to take note of where it is saved.

Then open the folder and double click DXSETUP to either install or repair the already installed files.

Reboot your PC and see if you can launch the game as normal.

I have downloaded, extracted, installed DirectX with the link you provided and restarted my PC. Issue still exist.

@RookWoodek, can you maybe try a different PC to see if you can replicate the issue?

I installed the game and transfered saves and settings to my roommate's PC and it works just fine.

@RookWoodek, alright, well that means one thing; the issue is local to your PC, unfortunately. However, it seems like all our troubleshooting steps haven't worked so far. There is still something that is blocking the game from working correctly on your PC.

I tried all your suggestions but nothing helped. I must admit that I gave up already, but if you have any other ideas what I can try to do besides reinstalling system I will be grateful.
