Hello there folks,so i've been playing this game (on Steam) for the last 2 days with no issues. I launched it again tonight, and it just wouldn't...Here's how it goes, in detail:-I press Play and the game in the library turns green (Running)-A small portrait EA window shows up for a few seconds and then disappears-Game goes back to white (so not running anymore?)-The same EA window as before shows up again, and the game goes back to green-The window disappears and the game goes back to white-A large landscape EA window appears for a few seconds, and then disappears.And that's it... nothing after that.Here's what i've tried so far:-Uninstalled EA App-Started the game which prompted me to re-install EA (which i did, but didn't fix it)-Re-installed the game-Restarted Steam-Restarted the PCI was playing fine, closed the game, started another game for an hour or so, and then this wouldn't launch anymore.Any ideas?Thanks

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair) EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify) Steam - Verify in your library Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates Install/Repair your VC++ files for Fallen Order(Microsoft VC++ Link) Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

Hey all, as you dig through your files, keep an eye open for "SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" this will launch Jedi Fallen Order without telling Steam or the EA app it is doing so. If you have the game installed through steam in is in (Steam > steamapps > common > Jedi Fallen Order > SwGame> Binaries > Win64 ) You can play anything you want with save files intact. However, you won't log any game time or earn any achievements in Steam.Good luck.

@EA_IlliumUnfortunately, none of this worked.EDIT: As a test, i've downloaded another EA game i have on Steam, and that one works just fine.

@Oddvar_Ashborn Yep that's what they've done with the Battlefront data loss/transaction bug thread... even tho it has since had another 100 or so posts as more and mroe of the community gets frustrated and comments that their games aren't working either... I think it just means someone from EA has replied???

Hi @Oddvar_Ashborn Can we start by trying the following steps?

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

EDIT: As a test, i've downloaded another EA game i have on Steam, and that one works just fine.

Hi, I'm having same kinds of problems. Have tried to reinstall EA and Fallen Order multiple times with no success. EA Launcher just keeps telling me "Your game failed to launch An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later.
