I also have a similar installation problem in epic games via origin. Here, when trying to start the game, there is an Origin error: Try restart the game to continue linking the game to your epic games account. Started the game over and over again. Cleared the origin cache. But it is always the same account link error after starting the game and typing in my origin account data. The origin support could not help and tell me to contakt the epic games support: the epic support did not answer, yet.......

just tried it and the origin window didnt disappear this time but instead i signed in and the download started (you may have to re-sign again)

I noticed last night Origin was down. You all might have better luck now. How embarrassing for these server-dependent games that can't keep up with the demand of the holidays!
