Jedi Fallen Order ps5 upgrade not free

Does anyone have any idea why I own the ps4 digital version of this game, yet the ps5 version asks me to purchase the game all over again? Seriously, what’s going on here?

    I too have the same problem, i knew about the possibility of upgrading my ps4 version to the ps5 one, but recently when I went to download the free upgrade it's no longer available. Everywhere I look it up, even in the EA website there is no mention of an expiration date to this upgrade.

    Hi, I'm having the same issue with the PlayStation store requesting I buy the ps5 version  rather than offering a free upgrade. The link you provided also does not work

    Did you have any solution for this? I even tried a new psn account with usa region. No luck on that too. It stil asks to pay a ps5 version.did they just deleted the upgrade option?

    Did you find any solution? I have a digital ps4 version installed on EU account . a new usa account didnt help me out to bypass the store for a upgrade option… im stuck no one on the internet has a fix instead of buying again

    I'm exactly the same. Have an EU account and no sign of a solution as no response from EA here. Going to try playstation support and see if they answer. Very frustrating as obviously an issue affecting a lot of people.

    Did you get an answer from Sony? I'm having the same problem. I talked to PS Support a few days ago and they said they will escalate it and someone will be in touch via email, but I've heard nothing yet.
