What can (players) possibly do to speed this along? I'm sure I could run over to where ever the devs work and fix this problem in a single day.
I think what bothers me the most is the absence of any ongoing commentary from DICE about this. I think it would easier to bear if there were someone there to answer our questions, or let us know what's happening with the progress of a fix. But, we shouldn't even need that, because problems like this one should be fixed immediately, within a day or two, not weeks or months later. I can't even take the game back to get my money. There isn't even a timeline from DICE, merely an acknowledgement that this is a problem. They haven't said they are even working on it. There's probably no one working on it. And if DICE people aren't allowed to talk about their work, that's some *. There are a lot of concerned people out here, waiting and feeling helpless.
Tomorrow before I go to work, I'm going to make every major gaming news media company aware of this problem that Star Wars: Battlefront has, and its *-poor response to it. I'm sure people out won't look positively on this, or EA/DICE.
