Legacy controls for Battlefront for xbox one not working

I just bought Battlefront for the xbox one.  When switching to the Legacy control scheme the left thumbstick won't work.  My character will very slowly turn left or right and that is it.  Is there so...

    I was really hoping there would be a patch thrown in with Jakku. Apparently I was right. But I'm not holding my breath. Can't wait for that first post that somebody can actually confirm that it works.

    From what I can gather, it seems that the patch won't be live until approximately 11pm EST for Xbox One.

    YOU GOT UPDATE ALREADY?

    MY LEGACYS CONTROLS WERE CORRECT JUST MOVED VERY VERY SLOW.

    UNLESS THEY FLIPED SOPMTHING IN THE UPDATE???

    WHEN DID UPDATE SHOW UP FOR YOU?

    I use look inversion for looking up and down but it felt like right and left was reversed. Need to compare to cod tonight. Unless someone here can test it out.

    Thanks for the posts, please let us know if there are further issues with the Legacy controls. 

    Sorry that I couldn't answer on this earlier, we needed to wait until the patch notes were confirmed/released.

    @crainbo have you been paying with default controls while waiting for the patch? Because that happened to me with the beta when I went back to Halo, took me a minute to adjust even though I was terrible with the defaults anyway.

    Yes I have. Still need to test it out but unless I'm wrong, I thought cod and halo had separate x and y choices.

    @crainbo pop in COD and look at the control menus, then play for a few minutes. That's what sorted me out. I don't know why it worked, I guess because I have hundreds of hours on COD, but I was able to recalibrate then go right back to Halo no problem. Give it a try.

    Just installed the patch and verified legacy controls now work! They also added legacy options to vehicles as well (but was unable to try a vehicle). Thank you for getting this fixed!
