Mouse and camera

Summarize your bug Camera movement is not mapped to mouse movement
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure. It might not be happening to everyone. It has been happening for me ever since the start, I am now on the second planet and still cannot move the camera using the mouse.
What happens when the bug occurs? The camera does not move when I move the mouse and there is no way to map the camera movement to mouse movements.
What do you expect to see? I expect the camera to move when I move the mouse!

The mouse works in menus, I can scroll and click things in the settings etc. However as soon as I get into the actual game, there is no camera movement from the mouse. This forces me to use a controller which I hate doing. If this cannot be resolved I am going to request a refund because I am not going to be able to enjoy the game with a controller. Combat feels clunky, there is no way to increase the sensitivity of the sticks so I cannot even get it to how I used to play games with a controller. I have included a screenshot showing the lack of sensitivity configuration options and the lack of mapping of the mouse to camera movements.

  • Mouse worked fine for me without any customization.

Try using default settings, if you haven't already.

Also (and excuse me for asking the obvious), are you sure you are not in one of the portions of the game where you cannot move the mouse - i.e. need to move forward?

Of course, you'll want to try a different mouse, if none of the above do it for you.

  • @SteveRogerRogers found the solution. Just put fullscreen instead of windowed, and exit the game and start it up again. after you press continue, the mouse cursor should be gone 🙂
  • Really hope they add the option to adjust sensitivity on the control. I'm trying to use the force to the fullest out here lol
