My HID controllers aren't showing ingame

So today I bought SW:S and it appears that it can only see my HOTAS THROTTLE.. So I have to fly the whole game with only the throttle.. It also sees my steering wheel and odd arduino HID-s that I have attached.. Why does this happen? Why am I not ALLOWED to use BOTH OF MY HOTAS CONTROLLERS? I was looking so much forward to playing this game today, but it doesn't even show both of my controllers up in the menus.. Can't assign anything other than my THROTTLE...

    @keem85m Okay, this has been repeated many times in many threads.

    The game can't handle more than 4 HID controllers at the same time - and 3 tends to be the common maximum.

    You have to physically unplug EVERYTHING else that isn't your keyboard, stick, throttle and rudders.

    I had to buy a 10 port switchable USB Hub as all my other flight sim equipment for DCS and FS2020/X-Plane, break SW:S.

    @Elphaba Aren't they gonna fix this? I wouldn't know because I just purchased it. I have a lot of usb periphals and can't disconnect them on demand

    @keem85mHow would I know? The fact that they never saw / tested for any of this before release, and then have been utterly radio silent on every other major problem and then this week they release a new patch with no notes yet contained a significant fix for VR users, then I would guess not. But who knows.

    They're obviously inexperienced console only devs who have tried to do something on PC and it's just a mess. I wish they're actually reached out more.

    But the above works 100%, and then if you have rudders that aren't ever seen, I posted a fix for that (VKB, but if other brand then VJoy + Joystick Gremlin work)

    Ahh that was you who posted that? So SW doesn't see one axis hid controllers? I actually didn't quite understand the guide, or where to assign dummy axis. I have the vkb rudder myself and would love to have it work also. What was that prograb you had pictured? Sorry for weird sentences im writing from within vr

    @Elphaba i think i got lost in step 1. from where would i need to do the backup? is it inside the squadrons config folder somewhere? ive never upgraded firmware on these rudders, they've kind of just worked nicely as is for me up until now

    @keem85m You're just backing up the current profile from the VKB software. It's got nothing to do with squadrons. Really, just look at the screenshot and follow the instructions. It's truly simple.

    I¨'m not sure wether to get refund yet, so don't waste too much time on me. I need to see if a USB hub on/off solution is worth my time

    @Elphaba ahh i see, but from which application is the screenshots taken? never seen this software before 🙂

    @keem85m Look at the image - the title bar of the application - it's the VKB CFG.exe program you got with the rudders to update firmware and calibrate the rudders.
