(PC) Servers are empty.

Yea same here especially during the morning time where I live it's incredibly empty. To the evening it picks up.

I believe this has got to do with this so called "server optimization" which clearly doesn't work cause if it were to work then when I do join a game I wouldn't have rubberbanding lags and such.

But I do so nothing is being optimized, actually the only think being optimized is the chance of not getting into a game, that's optimized so well that it even works.

But I hope they fix this, a huge load of problems came with the free dlc.

It's not likely the servers are actually empty, I think it's more like the system is completely broken and not matching people properly to get into games.

Every region has been experiencing the problem. I often get put into an empty server with just me and then dropped.

I have no issues with any other online game.

Battlefront is just badly broken.

Yeah look like no people playing..last time I play this game 28 nov..just download battle of jakku dlc and now I cant find any matchmaking

I got this game back at launch but only was able to play 5 games because the matchmaking is broken.

I live in the Midwest of the United States and I have this problem on a regular basis. A lot of empty servers or some servers with just a few people in it, but not enough to start the game, so everybody just sits there in limbo. EA posted several days ago that they fixed their matchmaking system via a patch or so. I am not so sure it's all fixed.

Part of the issue is also the huge amount of hackers for this game. From what I have read and seen on Youtube, there are hack program sites and videos of people blatantly showing off their game id's and video of them cheating. What do you do? EA Battlefront community members say that EA is using a program called FairFight (FFBANS.org) to eliminate hackers bases on scoring statistics, but I Googled  FairFight and found sites on how to beat their anti-cheat system. BTW, I have not seen any of the names of people that were obviously hacking or posting videos on the FF Ban list. Imagine that.

I believe a combination of bad server match making and too many cheats is resulting in low server populations. It's too late for me, but maybe you should just ask for a refund if possible and wait about 6 months till the price of the game drops significantly and they have some of these issues fixed or just play something different altogether. The cost benefit for this game is way to high when you look at the entertainment value versus the cost of the game.

I didn't get a single patch after the Battle for... I am not even gonna say.

Prior to the release of Jakku,  I had ZERO issues every mode was just a click a few seconds wait... often the wait of the white screen that shows you players on the server but with out the map took longest of all (10-15 seconds)

 Now  after the Jakku map add on... Its gone.. there is nothing.. i can let it sit for hours, i can be the only one in a room waiting to start a map for days...

 My computer is leet, my connection is leet..

 please release this game to the public: if your not whiling to fix it.. there are lots of fans who will be

I think it's every region. This keeps happening to me too, I try to join a game, but I get a "Can't find any games" message or I get dropped into an empty game where people just come and go so the game never starts.
