Problem downloading Star Wars Squadrons (acquired from Epic)

Got Squadrons trough Epic some time ago, today when trying to install it for the first time, it gets me to 14%, then gives me a download error.

I have cleared cache, did not solve the issue, so then proceeded to re install EA launcher and still does not solve it for me.

Anything I am missing?

I tried searching for my problem, havent found anything, now that I posted a few minutes after you I see there are others having the same problem as me, and others claiming the problem has been fixed. Well clearly it hasn't been fixed for me, and it hasn't been fixed for you ☹️

@BXDevils doesnt look like its fixed for anyone... After updating all apps, and clearing caches etc, then tryin different methods to try get this download working, down to settin up rules & disabling &/or disabling windows firewall etc, STILL DOESNT DOWNLOAD... :/

  @PadreousMaximus ok quick update... did a reboot and clear cache again... updated the ea and epic apps, again... rebooted... started download again and it SEEMS to be working so far... ie the download seems to be happening that is... I ran the EA App update through the windows tab (bottom left) where youre given the 4 options (recover, launch, updater and error reporter) SO i ran the update to EA App through THAT, and now its downloading...
