Hello.
THE PROBLEM
I got Star Wars Squadrons on Epic games. Today I tried to play it.
I launched Epic Games, hit the Install button , it lauched EA Games Lancher, I suppose it also deleted Origin that I previously had. It asked me to merge EA and Epic Games accounts, which I did. It made me restart the computer, which I did.
Then I lanuched the EA Launcger again, and prompted it to install the game. It read 'preparing' and 'Calculating time', the percentage indicator was at 14% (but I suppose 14% of the Preparing time cause it took like 1 minute), but it keeps thrwoing the error 'Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes'.
ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS
I restarted the computer, the Epic games app, the EA app, I cleared EA cache, I cleared EG .ini files, I tried downloading other games on EA (it works), I changed my nickname on EA to match the one on Epic Games - nothing worked. I checked if I have enough disk space - I got 90 GB, while it says it needs 30-ish.
I attach screenshots in Polish, but I described them above.
Would love to get some help. ☹️
- 3 years ago@AdonaiRoi I tried again after a few hours and everything works fine now. I guess the solution is time
