+1 - just picked up a Hori as its pretty much the only stick available for PS4 now due to supply chain issues, but just tried to use it with squadrons and realised its currently not really compatible, especially the thrust mapping on left stick
There needs to be a setting to have proportional control on thrust - where the amount of trust follows the degree of tilt of the stick.
Currently you can choose between smooth and incremental, but neither of those follow the stick.
Or the hori just needs to be recognised as a HOTAS like the thrustmaster is.

I'm using my older Hori FS3 on PC and it works OK other than having to use Joystick Gremlin to get it to recognize the throttle (I was furious, LOL. 10 hours wasted on Day 1). These are my settings, in case it is helpful, which it probably won't be:

There is no option for a joystick gremlin on PS4 as far as I know. Also unless the gremlin tricked the game into recognising the Hori as a HOTAS the throttle problem would persist.
