Random freeze

I have the exact same problem. I reduced the resolution of the game (since all my graphics settings were already pretty low) and it worked. I was able to play around an hour without freeze. I did not have the time to try for a longer period, but last time it had freeze it was after 10 min of play. It is almost like the game performs less well since the last maintenance.

I have a laptop:  

                            NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M

                            intel core i7-4700MQ

                            8 Gb RAM

Edit: Played today for around one hour then it froze again. (I played with lower resolution)

Don't get me wrong, i know 8gb is the minimum. I have played 100 hours on ultra WITHOUT a single problem (apart from having to reinstall Origin).

I tried to change the Nvidia driver but it did nothing. I play and randomly the game freeze and i have to force it to switch off. I also reinstalled Origin and it did nothing.

I play Fallout 4 et Black Ops 3 without problems like this (of course not on ultra, on medium).

I am pretty sur the last update broke something.

My card is GTX850M

I beleive you guys are having these issues because your laptops are borderline minimum, if not below.  Even though you have decent processors for a laptop being i7's, they are still laptop processors and are clocked at a much slower rate than a desktop processor.  The minimum requirement i3-6300T is @ 3.3 Ghz, when yours are around 2.4-2.6Ghz, which is quite a bit slower.  Also, all of your processors are below minimum.  I will post the specs below, and show you all comparisons of yours vs the minimum.  Also, you are all at borderline minimum for your RAM @ 8GB, and @KeyanShin is under with 6GB.  This is by no means the main cause of your issue, but it surely doesn't help.

Minimum PC System Requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i3 6300T @ 3.3Ghz or equivalent
Memory: 8GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Graphics card (ATI): ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB

Comparisons:

GTX 850M vs GTX 660  (I will leave out the 840M vs 660 since this will be lower and for some reason only the 1GB model was coming up for comparison)

GTX 750M vs GTX 660

One thing that may help you all with your freezing would be to change your graphics settings down, and also use "Borderless Windowed" mode or "Windowed" mode instead of FullScreen when playing.

I would like EA_David to check with the devs what's going on with those freeze. How come i can play in ULTRA from the begining with 6GB ram with No problems whatsoever here in France and suddenly the game in Multiplayer freeze at some point and i have to restart my PC ?

I would like to point out that i play since beta and the game used to run like a charm.

Since January update, sometimes i can play like 10 games in a row WITHOUT a single freeze and sometimes after 1 mn, the game freezes. It happens when i kill somebody i would say, 9/10 times. But from time to time, it freezes when i zoom or when nothing special happens.

PLEASE HELP !

I too basically have the same specs as your computer, it started four days ago!

Hi, i also checked on Reddit.

It's a problem with windows apparently. According to somebody in the forum, it NOT Ram related.

Devs are aware of this problem. Is it possible to get some official feedback please EA ?

I tried something different.

I run Origin and Battlefront BOTH on ADMIN. I played 2h30 straight and no freeze. The server disconnected itself once but i ended up on the front screen of the game : no freeze, no crash.

I am gonna play again this afternoon and see if it freezes again.

Could you try this little trick and report like me what you experience ?

Right click on Origin and select Run as admin. Then right click on your Battlefront icon and do the same.
