Spins...spins...spins...spins.... probably more than 10 minutes!

I got a person on support chat that had me refresh license then told me to delete and completely resintall the game.   Then shot me a link for internet trouble shoot like its a connection iss.   Clowns.   No assistance even if you do get some one

A day wasted with the ea sucks.  Game useless Since patch the other day.  matchmaking was 10-15 seconds now yer lucky to get a match in 7-10 min.  Thats when i dont error about not being able to find a match.  The match you do get if you get one is missing persons and cancels. All day on line with ea and them clowns can fix nothing.  Delete and full reinstall. Full database rebuild on the ps4 and still the same crap.  They actually threw out maybe there not alot of people to make a match... really..   much more and ill just quit tryn and play elsewhere.   All my other games work just fine.  Hey marcus i saw you in the briefing room a couple of times before our match got cancelled and we got kicked out to search again

@AxxmannIIIt’s been useless for me since Update 1.3 (Mandalorian). I’ve been able to maybe have 3 games in 7 weeks, and countless hours searching for games but timing out with Error 1066. I’ve been reporting it over and over again, in multiple threads each time I’m calm enough, though without any success, or even a token acknowledgment from EA. They do not seem to give a flying frack about their consumers.

WTF?!?!?!  The first line... just a bit about Matchmaking (MM).But lets do a whole bunch of changes to the ships!  WHO CARES WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN FLY THEM!?!??!?

100% concur fo sho.   Alot of us are right in the no info pitt.  Seems like theres some acknowledge going on now...that a big step forward compared to what we have been getting all weekend long.   I know id like to get a game on but i didn't even have the heart to try yesterday myself.   I know rancor and marcus were still getting the frustrarion on tryn to get a match

I messed up.  I had a hope and jumped in.  I was thinking...its Monday..their back from the weekend...theyll get on it...      NOPE.     Exactly the same crap.  Same crap no match and when it does get ya one its crap and short people.  Sorry i tried to enjoy a game barley 2 months old, that i paid good money for...that is pert much useless except for time wasting in a non-fun way.

The other team out leveled us by 340 levels, out ranked us, and out skilled us (when I look at K/D ratios).  So still... MATCHING SUCKS!!

One player dropped from each team bringing the level difference to only 325.

Two of the upper level people on my team said they didn't have the 'leaver penalty' and still waited 5+ minutes for this game.  I already had two 1066 time outs then took 8 minutes for this game.  Another before this had people dumping before I could get into the 'briefing room' and nobody wanted to leave because of the stupid 'leaver' unknown.  I did find somewhere digging through here that you need to play as many games as you left in order for it to drop.  I'm pretty sure this is wrong as well from my experience and what I've heard.

EA needs to step up!  Either fix the matching, or say they won't.  People that I have asked that like the game aren't serious players (low level and low ranked).  They aren't dealing in the same issues.  but then again.  I had one person on my team tonight that was only level 22 and (lowest of the initial 10 of us) wasn't ranked and no leaver penalty but had to wait 5 minutes.  He knew immediately he was out gunned with a level 360 player.  But, he wouldn't leave because he has read about the problems.  He hopes it changes as well because there is no "hope to have any fun when you're gonna get your * kicked every time."  WTF  EA !?!?!?!

Then....three games of 1066 time outs..

Then had one in 6 minutes and was getting the countdown tones as the game was loading.  Started right in the match.  When I asked the team what we were facing.  Was told we were doomed. Got a look at the scoreboard and was almost 200 levels.  Don't know the skills.  Terrible when you have a level 19 and 53 and their lowest level is 75.... 2 other players are bitching about the matchmaking and said, "Only way to win is wind up on the side with that is heavy.  Skill doesn't matter anymore."

This is still an issue after the matchmaking adjustments performed on 2020/12/4 - found only five lobbies from the last six hours of searching

In the low priority queue, can't find a match at all - dogfight, fleet battle ranked, fleet battle vs AI. 'Quick match' is useless as well.

Is the matchmaking algorithm running on a 386 or 486 CPU?

Every day... every time I play... I hate this game MORE AND MORE and EA is right there in the same boat!

Just played Fleet Battles after waiting 8 minutes..  The opposing team out leveled us by 152.  Three of them were from a clan so my guess they were using comms.  Nobody on my team was talking.  They had one Valliant 1, one Valliant 2, one Legend 1 and one Legend 2, one I couldn't tell.  We had, one Hero 5, one Hero 4 and one Hero 1, and two Valiant 2.  We were out ranked.  Their total Fleet Battle offensive K/D was 7.72 while ours was 4.23.  Out leveled, out ranked, out gunned...We lost.  Only got the offensive twice.

What the hell does it take to be randomly on the overpowered side???? 

Iv been wondering something like that same thing... LMFAO!!   Wondern if you could get a group and lurk in the queue as a set team waiting to pounce.  That would definitely be nice to play without bailers.   Ill match all day against higher level and ranks if the team im on is getting thier hits in and finishes with erbody.   Thats a good match to me.  Kinda Feeling like yer gettn batted around then realizing yer at 14 kills and only givin up 3 lives and their cap ship is dropping and you see in the tally erbody was rockn it out right along with ya.   Thats the fun ones.

Played one game last night... OMG!  Was probably the most balanced game I have played since the update!  Made me think there was hope!  

OH HELL NO!

Two matches tonight where people left and the match wouldn't launch  Three other matches were seriously out balanced and of course, I was on the loosing side.  In one of them, there was a person that was only getting ranked at level 22.  He was the victim of one of the opponent sharpshooters.  Seemed to keep hunting him down and taking him out.  This is a known strategy as this keeps their team in the favorable 'morale' which is also screwed.  Aces pick off the newbies and their team stays on the offensive to take out cruisers or flag ships.  Guess what would probably eliminate this... BETTER MATCHMAKING!  This guy was complaining after playing for the last few days and going through 10 minute wats and time-outs.  He told me he didn't have a leaver penalty.  Hmm...   Still in his words, "why the hell does he bother playing when some cracked up ace a%%h*#@ is going to serve his * to him on a platter?"  I couldn't disagree.  In a way it's good to hear people are getting pissed off with the game.  People on Reddit are saying the same.

I'm taking the game back in one more week.  Best Buy will give me store credit for the game.  ANYTHING has to be better than this crappy game. Solitaire anyone?

FIX MATCHMAKING!!!!

Just lost another super UNfair one...

I was the only ranked player at Valiant 2...but we lost so now Valiant 1.  They had only 2 unranked, one Hero 1, one Valiant 1, and one Valiant 5.  Total K/D on their team 5.59, our team 2.88 with TWO ZEROs.  

If they don't fix this...

8 weeks now of Error 1066 and unable to play games online...are they kidding? Ever since Update 1.3 (Mandalorian update) I can’t play. In Mildura Australia, NBN connected with speeds of 70Mbs, on PS4 with cross play enabled. See pics attached and my previous posts in this thread!

On Reddit... the of the believed Developers posted after the 4.1 update they were running away.

HA!  He said there were out for the holidays... so NOTING is going to happen till next year... at best.

Had it happen last night!  Played a few games with only a 3-5 minute wait.  Then got the 1066.

Horrid

After days of the exact same crap i got that flag cleared. Now searches are between :40 and 1:45...still alil slower than before but the matches have been way better. Theres still the occasional where yer put in against way higher level and rankes but ...if the cherry unranked that didn't even bother to play the game before jumping into rankd matches wasn't filling a spot for a real player.. even that match would be a good fight.  They still quit 2 min in and scrw it up.  

I haven't been playing as much with all the bad matchmaking.  This game is going back the first of the year once their support team tries to deal with the matchmaking issues.

Of what I have played, I would say about a third of the matches have been balanced.  I've noticed if you run into teams of players, the system seems to favor them and causes an unbalanced match.  MASSIVELY in some instances.  I'll post some pics with the bad matchmaking thread in a bit.

The more I've read, the more I find people are really done with the game as well.
