@mww27625 There are no plans to release the game for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 console. Star Wars Battlefront provides a high detailed audio and visual experience. For that reasons, the older console generation does not meet the minimum system requirements to run the game even in a lower resolution.

Wow that is incredibly disappointing we own so many PS3 games and we are huge EA game consumers my sons have patiently waited only to be let down we feel really bad that with so many PS3 players of EA games such as us you would want to keep us spending as well. I understand the technical challenges but I have read so many more complaints of those who feel as we do. You really let us down EA and I will consider that in future purchases.
Asking for the new battlefront to play on a ps3 would be like asking for old battlefront 2 to run on a super nintendo or even a ps1. Sure it would be cool but it's just not technically possible.
So, did you purchase a ps4 eventually?
