@labordej we have currently no information about future plans for an MAC OSX version for Star Wars Battlefront.

I would recommend simply monitoring the official Star Wars Battlefront webpage http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront or other online gaming publications such as Kotaku, PC Gamer, etc as they'll quickly publish articles about any upcoming changes to a franchise .
Also subscribing to the official Battlefront newletter may help as well http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront/newsletter
